Carla Elston

Carla changed career paths and joined Baird (formerly Hilliard Lyons) in August, 2018. She worked as a legal assistant for 28 years at law firms in historic downtown Madison. She was able to transpose her knowledge and skills into the wealth management industry.

Carla’s instinct to detail and organization have been a huge asset to our team. Her pleasant personality and communication skills have not only helped her build relationships with clients but also provide them with exceptional service.

Carla is dedicated to her community. She has volunteered with many local organizations over the years. Currently, she is a committee member for Jefferson County Relay for Life and an active member of North Madison Christian Church.

Carla and her husband Jim, live on a small farm outside of Madison, near their two adult children. They just had their first grandson in November and are extremely excited to take on the new role of grandparents.
